| Bio: | The Elfwood Review Board (ERB) was formed to ensure compliance of Elfwood Rules & Regulations by all members. Elfwood is already a huge site and continues to grow even larger every day. As such, more and more cases of plagiarized art or galleries not in concordance with the guidelines are reported each day. To make life easier for everybody, the ERB was founded to assist Thomas in enforcing of the Rules & Regulations of the site. The ERB does not deal in censorship. If an artwork or story was removed, it was in violation of the Rules. The ERB is NOT responsible for quality control. They deal only in subject matter, not how good or bad the artwork is (this, however, does not mean you can insult their intelligence by uploading stickmen knights into your gallery). The ERB has NOTHING to do with the Moderators! The Moderators are responsible for reviewing every piece uploaded to Elfwood, to make sure that it follows the rules. The ERB are responsible for removing works that violate the rules of Elfwood. If you have a question or complaint about Moderator decisions, please use the support form or reply to your moderation email. Do NOT use the ERB form, this will NOT get you an answer to your concern. ERB personnel are made up of Elfwood Members. Names will not be published. The people also vary over time, as it is stressful work. The ERB has been given full authority by Thomas Abrahamsson to carry out their duties in enforcing the Rules & Regulations. Each member has been personally selected and approved by him. The ERB's line of work includes but is not limited to: - Reports of stolen or plagiarized material Read more here. The ERB receives and deals with dozens of reports in a day. Because of the sheer number of people we deal with and the variety of personalities and lives, conflicts unfortunately do arise above and beyond merely rule violations. Here's a few useful tips to remember: - Make sure your report or message is complete, clear and concise. Supply all the relevant names, URLs and your reasons for contacting us. If you wish to contact us, you can use the report form found here. This journal is to serve as a place where concerned Elfwood Members can read about current relevant updates about the ERB. You may not comment on any of these posts, but feel free to add the ERB as your friend to watch the journal. Some of the posts will be centered around: - Answers to emails from users surrounding issues that pertain to the entire Elfwood. The posts will -not- be used for: - Retorts to flames or diatribe written to incite members of the ERB or of Elfwood. Please respect the anonymity of the ERB. We are not accepting solicitations to join at this time. The best way to show your support for Elfwood is to read the guidelines, participate in Elfwood events, volunteer to be a moderator, and enjoy the community spirit available to you.
